Logistics & comfort in a bus

We select coaches, touring of the latest generation (typically 50 seats, limited to a smaller number of passengers for added comfort) for our tours large group. They are all equipped with air-conditioning, panoramic windows, toilets edge, ofan audio video system, modern e-readers and individual power outlets or USB ports. Wi-Fi is included on the vast majority of our trips in Canada. 

We specialise in mini-van, luxury Sprinter Mercedes for our small groups in configuration 12 to 15 passengers. They are all equipped with air conditioning, audio / video and USB ports, as well as a luggage space integrated in the rear of the vehicle with an easy access through the ceiling raised and the side door.

As designers and explorers, our philosophy is to focus on the discovery rather than the road. The steps of conduct last on average between 2 and 4 hours per day, with ofphoto stops, guided tours or meal breaks.

Each traveler is allowed to bring a carry-on baggage (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) and a small piece of hand luggage (backpack or travel bag), which must be placed in the compartments above the seats or under the seat in front of him in our buses are public.

Operation of the circuit & life group

To maintain a friendly atmosphere and a logistics fluid, our large groups are usually between 30 and 45 participants maximum. For our series circuits and applications on measurement of tour operators, we adpatons the size of the group from 10 to 12 passengers minimum rolling with the vans. Above 15 passengers, we offer some of the circuits in a mini-bus for 20 to 24 people and for a larger group, we use of the bus coachair for a group of  30 people minimum and upto 50 people maximum.

Tips in restaurants for meals included in the package are always integrated. In contrast, for meals that are not included in the package and in accordance with the practices in North America, tips for the guide-companion (recommended : 5 to 7 CAD $ / day / person) and the driver ofbus (recommended: $ 4 to $ 6 CAD / day / person) are left to the discretion of the passenger end of the circuit according to his personal satisfaction.

Accommodation & catering

We work rigorously with schools category than 4★ (canadian standards), focusing on a central location in cities (such as Montreal or Toronto) or a natural dexception (as in the Rocky mountains or in the Mauricie region). If you want a category ofluxury hotels to be 5★, please mention to us in your request for a custom circuit. We will be happy to introduce you to our partners ofaccommodation  5★.

Cis a priority. Thatit’sfroma vegetarian diet, gluten-free orsevere allergies, it is enough to mention to us at the time of booking. Our teams send these requirements to all providers and restaurant partners of the circuit.

In North America, triple or quadruple rooms are configured with two large double beds (Double/Queen). Itis generally not a bed ofextra additional single. This formula is ideal for families but less recommended for four independent adult. For this scenario, it is better to preferred two occupation double.

Formalities, insurance & cancellations

For international travelers (especially in europe), a valid passport and an Electronic Travel Authorization (AVE) are required to enter Canada by air. Canada applies rules ofimmigration is very strict. Any person with a criminal record (including alcohol-impaired driving) can be denied theentry into the territory by the border agents. America Tours cannot be held responsible for these decisions sovereign.

America Tours is highly recommended that the tour operators and end customers to purchase a comprehensive insurance policy in full (either through us or via theissuing agency), covering the medical costs ofemergency in thecountry, the repatriation andcancellation of the trip.

Our general terms and conditions of sale B2B provide scales of fees,cancellation sliding scale depending on the date of notification prior to departure. The initial deposits of group bookings are usually non-refundable to secure blocks ofhotels, and dbuses from our suppliers.

Professional area (tour operators & agencies)

Quite. We make every season a grid of circuits catalogs guaranteed departures as soon as a minimum number of participants (typically 20 or 25). This allows agencies to commercialize our products safely without fear ofa late cancellation.
